Vol.1 "The 14th Kanagawa Biennial Exhibition went overseas to Korea"

After the 14th Kanagawa Biennial Exhibition made the rounds in Kanagawa prefecture, it went overseas to two places in Korea in July and August.
The exhibition was organized by DongWong Educational Foundation in Korea, who administrates Somi Artcenter. The grand prize winner, Miss. Chong, and other prize winners were from that artcenter.
About a hundred of ambassadors' wives from several countries as well as Korean reporters attended the opening ceremony. An original mural, made by the students in Somi Artcenter, was beautifully decorated the hall.
The pictures were displayed by continent. Each display board was color coded so that people could easily recognize it. Another feature of the exhibition was the workshop booths. In one corner, the exhibition artwork was scanned and downloaded into a computer. Children could collaborate with the artists by digitally adding their own drawings to the exhibitions. In another corner, they could use their fingers to paint in the sand. There were interpreters standing at each corner to explain the features of exhibition. We could use those ideas for our next exhibition too.
The July exhibition in Seoul has finished and the next one is held at the Book Theme Park in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea, from 1st to 31 of August.
